SANDY, Utah, Oct. 18, 2025 (Gephardt Daily) — Sandy City police responded Friday to a reported fight in progress involving guns.
Officers responded to an address near Quail Hollow Drive, and learned from John Robin Boren, 72, that the incident began when one of his sons came to the house to collect his belongings from his downstairs room, the older Boren’s arrest document says.
“There was a verbal altercation and during this, John Sr. collected a black handgun from his room and walked to the front stairs,” the affidavit says…
