NORTON, Ohio — The proposed data center project at the former PPG Industries limestone mine site on Limestone Drive in Norton will not move forward, WKYC, cleveland.com and The Plain Dealer’s media partner, reported.
The decision, announced by the Norton City Council on Friday, comes amid strong local resistance over concerns about environmental impact, potential noise, traffic and quality-of-life issues for nearby residents, the TV station reported.
