Man found stabbed to death in Northeast DC

WASHINGTON — Homicide detectives are investigating after a man was found stabbed multiple times in Northeast D.C. Thursday night. So far, police have not made any arrests in the case.

According to Metropolitan Police Department spokesperson Tom Lynch, officers were called to a report of a man down in the 1600 block of Benning Road Northeast around 11:15 p.m. Once on scene, officers found a man unconscious and not breathing. He had multiple stab wounds. D.C. Fire and EMS responded, but the man was pronounced dead at the scene.

Investigators have not released any information about a suspect or suspects in this case. They are still working to establish a motive in the deadly stabbing as well…
