CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) – A cold front is forecast to move through the Lowcountry late Sunday, which will work to bring us less sunshine and a small rain chance to conclude the weekend!
FIRST ALERT: Winds will increase ahead of Sunday evening’s front – perhaps to between 25-35 MPH at times! A “Lake Wind Advisory” has been issued for Orangeburg and Clarendon Counties where such winds could linger around into early Monday morning. #SCWX#CHSWXpic.twitter.com/7NBwrj0M7k

Overnight, our nearby area of high pressure will pivot offshore. Along the coast, a light southerly wind should increase slightly, keeping our nighttime lows warmer than what we saw in previous nights. Sunday morning’s lows will span the 50s and 60s.
As the aforementioned front draws towards the Carolinas, we’ll see an increase in clouds through Sunday morning and afternoon. Daytime temperatures will peak into the upper 70s and low 80s – a few degrees warmer than Saturday…
