Family returns to Eastover trail searching for missing son Zelig “Eli” Williams

RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. — It’s been more than a year since Zelig “Eli” Williams disappeared in Richland County.

On Saturday, his loved ones returned to the Palmetto Eastover Trail, hoping to find new clues that could bring them closer to answers. Family members said they’ve searched the area several times since his disappearance, but this weekend felt different.

“We’ve been out here about four or five times, but before now, the terrain was really rough,” said Mieokie Corbett-Jacobs, Williams’ cousin. “Today, we’re able to get to places we couldn’t reach before, just hoping to find any clues that Eli was actually here.”…
