CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – The Clarksville Christian Centurions hosted the Zion Christian Academy Eagles on Thursday night for a state volleyball quarterfinal matchup in a win-or-go-home contest. The Centurions swept the Eagles in straight sets for a 3-0 win, earning the Centurions their first-ever state tournament win in their first appearance.
“Couldn’t be more proud of this team. Making program history is great, but they stepped into the gym tonight with a job to do and got it done,” said Centurions head coach Marth Sheffield. “Each day, they are more of a family than the day before.
