SIMPSONVILLE, S.C. (FOX Carolina) – When it comes to showing school spirit, most Hillcrest High students tend to wear red and black. However, for the next week more students will likely be sporting purple as they join the fight against Alzheimer’s Disease.
Purple is the key color of the Alzheimer’s Association, the chosen beneficiary of this year’s Spirit Week. The Alzheimer’s Association helps with research, raises awareness and provides resources and support for families dealing with the diagnosis.
