Kalamazoo park turns purple for Walk to End Alzheimer’s, raising awareness and funds

KALAMAZOO, Mich. — Kalamazoo’s Bronson Park became significantly more purple Saturday as people gathered for the 2025 Walk to End Alzheimer’s.

Held annually throughout the nation, the Walk to End Alzheimer’s raised funds for Alzheimer’s care, support, and research, according to organizers.

The walk, hosted by the Alzheimer’s Association, calls on participants of every age to join the fight against a disease that affects everyone.
