‘We needed this‘ | Knoxville Music Fest brings Boozie, other performers to Covenant Health Park

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) – The excitement was high in Covenant Health Park as the Knoxville Music Festival brought several R&B, hip-hop and southern soul artists out for fans to enjoy on Saturday.

“I am excited because we needed this. With myself and my cousin as a senior, they haven’t had anything for us to do. This is so wonderful that they bring in these people here,” said Gwen Celmons.

The festival began with a pre-show that showcased talent from around East Tennessee. This was followed up by a handful of other artists, including Boozie, Cupid and Pokey Bear…
