One person is dead, two are injured and four people are displaced after a house fire in the Parkland neighborhood damaged three homes.
Louisville Fire Department responded to a call of a fire in the 700 block of South 31st Street just before 7 a.m. Louisville Fire Department Chief Brian O’Neil said the first crews arrived on the scene in four minutes to find an abandoned, two-story house with a second-story fire.
Crews found two people who had evacuated to the roof over the back porch of the house and were able to get them down. Both were taken to the hospital and are being evaluated. When firefighters went inside the home, they found a third person who was pronounced dead at the scene…
