Mojave Desert Wind Alert: 40–50 MPH Gusts Possible Wednesday

Hanford, CA – Strong winds could return to parts of Southern California this week as a system moves across the Mojave Desert Slopes, according to the National Weather Service in Hanford.

Forecasters say there’s a 40 to 50 percent probability that wind gusts will exceed 40 mph on Wednesday, October 22, particularly along California Highways 14 and 58 and in the town of Mojave.
