RCSD teachers union meets with NYS Comptroller’s Office over ongoing payroll issues

ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Union members met with the New York State Comptroller’s Office Friday to address ongoing payroll issues within the Rochester City School District.

The Rochester Teachers Association shared photos of the meeting on Facebook. In the post, they said “Our members deserve to be paid correctly and on time—nothing less.”

Since the district implemented the Oracle payment platform in July, hundreds of employees have received only partial paychecks. The state teacher’s union has filed a lawsuit against the district over these issues…
