California Highway Patrol (CHP) officers safely apprehended a wrong-way driver on Highway 101 near Goleta earlier this month.
On October 2, CHP dispatch received a report from the public of a wrong-way driver traveling southbound in the northbound lanes of Highway 101, just south of Patterson Avenue.
A CHP Santa Barbara unit responded immediately, conducting a traffic break with lights and sirens activated between the number one and two lanes to protect oncoming motorists.
