WILMINGTON, DE — Wilmington Police announced the arrest of two individuals and the recovery of firearms, ammunition, and narcotics following an investigation by the Safe Streets Task Force on October 15.
According to authorities, officers were conducting a firearm investigation in the unit block of West 36th Street at approximately 7:44 p.m. when they recovered two 9mm handguns, including one reported stolen from the New Castle County Police jurisdiction. Investigators also seized ammunition, approximately 644 grams of marijuana, and various drug packaging materials and paraphernalia.
