The YMCA of Lincoln is preparing for the arrival of cold weather through their 5th annual Winter Coat Drive to benefit the People’s City Mission. New of gently used coats can be dropped off through Tuesday at all four Lincoln YMCA branches.
Since the coat drive’s inception, nearly 11,000 coats have been collected and distributed. “As temperatures drop, the need for warm clothing becomes critical for those without stable housing,” says Renee Yost, president & CEO of the YMCA of Lincoln. “Our annual coat drive is one way we can extend care and compassion to our neighbors in need.”
