PORTER COUNTY, Ind. — A suburban man was charged with reckless homicide after a 54-year-old died Wednesday in a Northwest Indiana highway crash. Additionally, an ICE detainer was placed on the driver.
Borko Stankovic, 41, of Lyons, is facing reckless homicide and criminal recklessness resulting in death after Portage police responded to a crash involving a semi-truck at around 1:25 p.m. Wednesday on US 20, near Douglas Drive.
