33 dogs rescued from home “filled with feces” in Colorado

A recent investigation into animal cruelty resulted in the seizure of 33 dogs at an Adam’s County home.

According to a report from the local sheriff’s office, authorities visited the Strasburg home on October 15 with an inspection warrant that was issued by the Colorado Department of Agriculture’s Animal Health Division/Pet Animal Care and Facilities Act Program.

Once at the home, an inspection was conducted, which revealed what law enforcement reported to be 33 dogs living in poor conditions. The home was described to be “filled with feces,” which created a significant health hazard. It was also reported that several of the dogs were found to be confined to kennels without access to water…
