Denver police: 12 arrested, majority connected to ‘secondary marches’

DENVER (KDVR) — 12 people have been arrested, with 11 of the arrests connected to “secondary marches” after the “No Kings” rally on Saturday, according to police.

“No Kings” rallies were held nationwide and across Colorado, including in downtown Denver and in the area of the Colorado Capitol Building.

The Denver Police Department said to FOX31 that around 3:30 p.m., most protesters who were located in the areas of downtown Denver and the State Capitol Building had left “following a peaceful march.”

However, the department said that around 3:50 p.m., a “smaller group of protesters” allegedly began a second march moving towards the intersection of 20th Street and Chestnut Street…
