SALEM, Ore. – The Idaho men’s golf team finished fourth at the Oregon State Invitational this week in at the Illahe Country Club in Salem. The finish is the highest finish for the Vandals ever in the tournament for the Vandals and the first time finishing in the top five.
Josh McCartain continued his strong play, finishing t14 to lead the vandals in the tournament. He had a team, best two-under 70 in round two. Joe Sykes finished tied for 17th at three-over for the tournament with two rounds of even-par 72 on the week.
Sam Johnson tied for 37th at seven over, Charley Simpson was 10-over for the tournament to finish tied for 47th and Dalton Sean rounded out the scoring in a tie for 64th at 15-over…
