One person is dead and five others were found shot at separate scenes early Saturday in Jefferson County.
Center Point Fire District responded around 12:30 a.m. to assist Palmerdale Fire Department in the 7900 block of Highway 75. Palmerdale officials confirmed one person was found dead at the scene from a gunshot wound to the head. Four others were transported from the scene for medical treatment.
Around the same time, Trussville Police said they assisted the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office in the 1500 block of Gadsden Highway, where a gunshot victim was located. That individual was transported by Trussville Fire to a local hospital…
