BLENDON TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WSYX) — The Blendon Township Police Department is warning of potential layoffs if a proposed levy on the November ballot does not pass.
Police Chief John Belford cited “crime creep” from neighboring areas, a growing population, and increased competition for police jobs as factors straining the department.
