Brush fire scorches 40 acres near Austin’s airport

AUSTIN, Texas — Fire crews are working to contain a brush fire that is burning in southeast Austin on Friday afternoon.

Smoke was spotted near Dee Gabriel Collins Road from KVUE’s tower cam south of Austin-Bergstrom International Airport.
