IOWA (KCAU) — Iowa’s SNAP program might be impacted by the government shutdown beginning in November.
According to a press release, the Iowa Department of Health and Human Services (Iowa HHS) said that benefits may not be issued on SNAP cards in November as lawmakers try to find a way to fund the government.
