University Health Services presented a list of suggestions for UHS funding models to the Associated Students of Madison council Wed. night, discussing the future of funding of health services and the impact they will have on students, according to ASM.
UHS Executive Director Jake Baggott and Chief Operating Officer Lindsay Barber presented four different models to students, starting with the model that UHS currently operates under, according to ASM Press Office Director Drew Wesson.
The current state of UHS uses segregated fees to cover most of its expenses, providing many services for free, but charging for individual services such as physical therapy and vaccines.
