Kingsbridge Heights: Police Appeal for Help Identifying Man Sought for Robbery & Assault of 17-Year-Old

The NYPD is asking for the public’s help identifying the person seen in the attached photos who they said is wanted in connection with a robbery and assault that occurred in the Kingsbridge Heights section of The Bronx.

Police said that on Sunday, Oct. 12, at around 6.05 p.m. a 17-year-old male victim was sitting on the southbound train platform at the Kingsbridge Road subway station serving the B/D trains. “An unidentified individual approached and began shouting at the victim,” a police spokesperson said.

“The unidentified individual then punched the victim multiple times in the face and removed the victim’s lanyard containing his student identification and OMNY card,” the spokesperson added. “The individual fled on foot, exiting the train station, traveling in an unknown direction to parts unknown. The victim sustained injuries to his eyes, nose, and head and was transported by EMS to NYC Health and Hospitals/Lincoln in stable condition.”

Police said the suspect is described as male, has a medium complexion, and was last seen wearing a red tank top, purple compression arm sleeves, black pants, and was carrying a black fanny pack…
