LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) – Louisville community members participated in tree planting at Shelby Academy and Preston Park on Saturday as part of a local organization’s mission to preserve the Metro’s tree canopy.
The group effort was hosted by TreesLouisville and saw volunteers plant over 30 new trees, including mulching, staking, and watering. Those participating were also able to help with previously planted trees from the organization.
