AUBURN, N.Y. — Auburn Police say a man from Port Byron has been arrested following a fraud investigation that began earlier this year.
According to police, officers were called to 13 Chapel St. on July 11, 2025, for a report of fraud. The investigation determined that 38-year-old Justin M. Pendleton had submitted fraudulent time sheets while employed at Nick’s Ride, where he worked as a peer support advocate for inmates of the Cayuga County Jail.
