Skies will remain clear through the evening hours across Southeastern Minnesota and Northern Iowa, courtesy of high pressure making a very brief visit to the region.
Winds will be the big story, though they will be diminishing as we loose daytime heating, calming to 5-10 mph later this evening and into the overnight hours. Temperatures will be allowed to drop into the upper-30F’s for much of the viewing, with a few locations potentially clinging on to the 40F mark. Winds will shift to out of the south later on in the night as a warm front passes through, allowing temperatures to warm slightly by Monday morning.
