ROCKFORD, Ill. (WTVO/WQRF) — The Jefferson J-Hawks got a must-win Friday night holding off the Freeport Pretzels 10-6 at Swanson Stadium. The win keeps the J-Hawks playoff hopes alive by evening their record at 4-4.They still have to win next week when they host Auburn. Freeport’s loss to the J-Hawks puts an end to the Pretzels’ playoff hopes. The Pretzels record is now 3-5.
