Severe storm threats clearing, rain continues through Sunday morning

ST. LOUIS – Rain and thunderstorms swept through the St. Louis region on Saturday, with the heaviest activity in southern Missouri and Illinois. While severe weather threats have mostly cleared, rain will continue through Sunday.

Saturday brought some of the substantial rainfall in months as much of Missouri continues to grapple with drought conditions. Some spots around St. Louis noticed up to two inches of rain.
