ERIE, Pa. – New Haven Volleyball capped off its weekend in Mercyhurst with a 3-1 loss on Saturday afternoon to the Lakers. After dropping the first two sets, the Blue & Gold rallied to win the third before ultimately falling in the fourth and final frame.
Lauren MacKellar (Grosse Pointe Woods, Mich./Northville) led New Haven with 14 kills. Kassadi Avent (Woolwich, NJ) was close behind with 12. Caroline Johnston (Noelnsville, TN) was the primary setup option for the Blue & Gold, finishing with 19 assists. Juli De Acharan (Sevilla, Spain/IES Nestor Almendros) was also in double figures, ending the match with 11 helpers.
