Alabama has committed to providing $466 million in incentives for nearly 40 companies since mid-2023, when the state started publicly reporting those agreements.
Many of those incentives are tied to job creation and investments made by the companies setting up shop or expanding their operations in Alabama.
Nearly half of those active incentive agreements were signed in this year alone.
