Prichard “Let’s Think Pink” walk helps families dealing with cancer

PRICHARD, Ala. (WKRG) — Events for Breast Cancer awareness month continue in Mobile County. Saturday morning, hundreds of people made their way around Prichard for a cancer walk.

It was the 7th Annual “Let’s Think Pink Breast Cancer Walk Prancing Pink in Prichard. People walked from Renaissance Park, down Wilson Avenue and back again. The walk raises money to help support families facing cancer.

“Absolutely, when you get that diagnosis, it seemed like the end of the world. So when you have support and you have someone to let you know that you’re not going to lose this battle, it makes the journey easier for you,” said Let’s Think Pink founder Tracy D. Walker.
