FHP seeks public’s help identifying woman hit by car

ESCAMBIA COUNTY, Fla. (WALA) – The Florida Highway Patrol needs your help in identifying a woman who was hit by a car in Escambia County on Friday.

Official reports say a sedan was heading southbound on U.S. 90 approaching State Road 295 when a woman was attempting to cross the highway. They say she stepped out in front of the vehicle and collided with the front hood and windshield.

The woman was taken to Sacred Heart Hospital, where she is in critical condition, authorities say.
