Expired or unused medications can be disposed of safely during an Oct. 25 regional Drug Take Back Day.
Sites in Toledo, Holland, Sylvania, Maumee, Monclava, Oregon, Ottawa Hills, Swanton, Waterville, and Whitehouse will accept narcotics, over-the-counter medications, pet medications, prescriptions, and vitamins. Sharps, syringes, and liquid medications will be accepted at some locations, according to a Toledo Police Department flyer and a news release from the Sylvania Prevention Alliance.
