AMARILLO, Texas (KFDA) – The two college students who died in a violent head-on crash between Amarillo and Canyon on October 13, 2022 were following their favorite band on tour.
Analuisa Mendoza and Alicia Bustos were devoted fans of The Wallows, an alt-rock trio with eclectic melodies and romantic lyrics.
“That’s what they looked forward to…” said Jennifer Mendoza, older sister to Analuisa. “Earning money and going to their concerts.”
She explains that Analuisa and Alicia both graduated from Piedra Vista High School in Farmington at the same time…
