Black Teen Fatally Shot By Stray Bullet While Playing Video Games At Home

A 14-year-old high school freshman in St. Louis was shot and killed by a stray bullet while playing video games in his bedroom.

According to PEOPLE, D’Uwan Morgan, 14, was at home on October 8 when gunfire erupted outside. St. Louis County Police Department responded to a 911 call at around 6:10 p.m. and found Morgan had been shot at least once. The 14-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene.

“Morgan was inside his home when he was hit by a stray bullet from outside,” police said. “Several subjects in the area were shooting at each other when Morgan was struck.”…
