ST. LOUIS — The City of St. Louis sued former Congresswoman Cori Bush over unpaid earnings taxes earlier this year, but city officials say she recently paid the full balance, ending the case before her scheduled court hearing this week.
The lawsuit, filed April 1, 2025, by Collector of Revenue Gregory F.X. Daly, sought $6,390.38 in unpaid earnings taxes, penalties, and interest for the 2020 through 2022 tax years. The petition listed both her self-employment income and wages from the U.S. House of Representatives, along with a small payment from George Mason University.
