San Antonio Man Sentenced to Six Years After High-Speed Chase and Identity Theft Case

NEW BRAUNFELS, TX - A San Antonio man has been sentenced to six years in prison after pleading guilty to Evading Arrest or Detention with a Vehicle and Fraudulent Use or Possession of Identifying Information involving multiple victims.

27-year-old Barry Joseph Hawkins entered guilty pleas to both charges and chose to have his sentence decided by the court. Judge Gary Steel of the 274th District Court sentenced Hawkins to six years in prison.
