Kirkwood Man Gets 21 Years For Crash That Killed 2

A Kirkwood man has been sentenced to 21 years in prison for causing a 2024 Valentine’s Day crash in downtown St. Louis that killed a mother and daughter who were in town for a concert event.

Monte Henderson, 23, of the 400 block of Meacham Street in Kirkwood, was sentenced Oct. 10 in St. Louis Circuit Court.

Henderson pleaded guilty earlier this year to two counts of first-degree involuntary manslaughter and two counts of armed criminal action in the deaths of Laticha Liz Bracero, 42, and her daughter, Alyssa Angel Cordova, 21, on Feb. 14, 2024, according to the St. Louis Circuit Attorney’s Office…
