A report of a scam has surfaced out of southwestern Idaho involving a group of men approaching people in a shopping center parking lot and asking for financial assistance.
A Boise-area man took to social media over the weekend to warn other Idahoans about a scam that was pulled on his wife in front of a popular market. Three men reportedly approached the woman and asked for money to help with personal matters. Unfortunately, money was given to them.
On Sunday (October 19), a man posted to the Reddit / Idaho website about ‘scams in the Treasure Valley.’ The incident reportedly took place in front of the Trader Joe’s in Meridian, 12 miles west of Boise.
