A crowded field is running for the two at-large City Council seats, and one of my votes will definitely be for Jake Marsing. Most candidates speak in vague generalities, but Jake offers specific solutions for Longmont’s challenges.
First, he champions cutting red tape for small businesses. Longmont’s downtown revival shows what’s possible when local businesses thrive. Jake wants to expand that approach citywide to prevent unique local retailers and restaurants from being replaced by big-box chains…
