ALBANY — Three years after a vehicle crashed into a North Pearl Street convenience store while fleeing authorities, another car that was the subject of police interest hit the front of the adjoining restaurant early Monday. A loaded handgun was later found in the vehicle, police said.
Minutes earlier, the car, a late-model Honda Accord, had been pulled over by Albany police officers in the area of Sheridan and Lexington avenues for failing to observe a stop sign, according to Megan Craft, spokeswoman for the Albany Police Department.
