ANN ARBOR, MI — Children are increasingly shunning the outdoors for some screen time.
A new national poll on children’s health from the University of Michigan C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital finds that fewer than one in 10 parents say their toddler or preschooler plays outside once a week or less.
The poll also finds three in five parents say their child watches television or videos every day, while a third of parents say their child “engages in media play” such as video games daily…
