Legacy Prep, a Birmingham charter school founded in 2017, has officially opened their new intermediate school campus for grades 4-8 at the former A.G. Gaston Boys & Girls Club.
The new state-of-the-art facility marks a major expansion of the school’s mission to provide “high-quality, college-preparatory education rooted in leadership and entrepreneurship,” the school said.
“This is more than a building. It’s a promise. It’s a promise to our students that they will have a place to learn and grow. We chose the name ‘Legacy’ for a reason, and legacy isnt something that you adhere to. It is something that you create. It is a living story that we write to ourselves, of our choices and the dreams that we care about.”
