NORTH MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WBTW) — October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month and across the Grand Strand, people stepped out Saturday to show their support.
The North Myrtle Beach Women’s Club hosted “What a Difference A Mile Makes” walk for the cause.
The event brought out survivors, supporters and local organizations including the Myrtle Beach Police Department, Family Justice Center and the Rape Crisis Center. The walk drew a strong turnout honoring victims and brought attention to resources available for those in need…
