Nashville Police Arrest Six Teens, Recover Stolen Vehicles and Firearms in Antioch

In a recent chain of events, Metro Nashville Police Department (MNPD) apprehended six teenagers following the recovery of two stolen vehicles. The cars, a Hyundai Elantra and a Kia Soul, were taken into custody after MNPD’s Violent Crimes Detectives tracked down both vehicles in Antioch neighborhoods. WSMV reports that the Hyundai, stolen a day prior, was immobilized by detectives before they arrested the 15-year-old driver, who was armed with a pistol boasting an extended magazine.

Following this interception, officers identified and pursued a previously stolen Kia Soul. It was at a parking lot where detectives saw the car entering on Murfreesboro Pike, as described by a release from MNPD shared by NewsChannel5. The pursuit concluded with the car reaching a dead end and the passengers, five teenagers, attempting to flee on foot.

Charges against the minors include vehicle theft, evading arrest, and juvenile handgun possession.
