UPDATE (4:24 p.m.) – Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s officials say officers responded to a report of a person with a deadly weapon inside the Ralphs store on Hollister Avenue in Goleta just before 2:40 p.m. on Monday.
Officers reportedly approached the person and tried to get them to calm down, but the situation ended in a shooting inside the store with the suspect now deceased.
No officers were harmed during the incident.___…
