Powerful wind gusts across Central New York have resulted in widespread debris in roadways, including tree branches, recycling bins, and even trees down across some roads including Mount Pleasant Road and Coddington Road. New York State Electric & Gas shows 458 customers without power, mostly in the Towns of Newfield and Dryden.
Update: County officials say Besemer Road in the Town of Caroline is closed between Brooktondale Road and Besemer Lane until further notice due to power lines and trees down.
