A new permanent exhibit honoring Native American history debuted in the Washington State History Museum in Tacoma on Sunday.
The exhibit, “This is Native Land,” is in the museum’s Great Hall of Washington History.
Through multimedia, contemporary and interactive art set alongside historical artifacts, the exhibit conveys the importance of tribal traditions in the state and continuing them today, the museum wrote in a statement. More than 100 Native people from more than 60 tribes contributed to the exhibit…
